This site exists to promote theological knowledge, understanding, and debate, particularly within the evangelical church. It aims to be academically thorough, spiritually helpful, useful in furthering the mission of the church, relevent to contemporary society, and helpful in approaching contemporary issues from a Christian point of view. Our key aim is to help people to know God better, and to help people help other people to know God better (or simply to know God.)
The editor of this site is John Fricis Ievins, also known as Theology John. I recently graduated with a theology degree from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, where I will soon spend a year working with theology students, helping them to relate their faith and their studies together, and being discipled, as part of the the UCCF Doctrinal Basis, or the Basis of Faith of the Evangelical Alliance), although I may well occasionally do so.
